I think some of you know I was lucky enough to fing a glitter Lina yesterday. Unfortunately she had a broken tail and a broken wing. My ht was quite nice and tried to find another in the back but a see all know glitters are hard to come by. I decided to take her anyway as it looked like an easy fix.

I'm happy to report that some gorilla glue (the clear kind) and a little tlc put Luna back together again. She's beautiful and I'm happy she was so easy to put back together. I have been babying her some. Matt says the gorilla glue is stronger than I think but I'm not taking an chances!

So glitter Luna is going for over $100 on eBay now according to some listings I saw. And none of the HT's near me have her in yet. I'm still holding out hope that sometime this week I'll have a chance to hunt her glitter version down...

Any other east coast sightings of Luna? I've been wanting to call Hot Topic, but I haven't been able to yet. I told myself that calling them every day is too much and my anxiety (I only get like this when I feel like I'm bothering people) won't let me call them anymore. And with the weather suddenly turning bad, I don't want to make a trip to the store unless I know Luna is there.

Not far from where you are and my HT doesn't have her yet, I was just in earlier today.

There were some at my store yesterday. I exchanged my pre-order Luna (there was visible glue under wing) for a much better looking figure.

No thanks on pink Celestia. It's bad enough that I accidentally got a Pinklestia as a part of a set of toys, I don't want that to be a variant of her Funko figure. Nope nope nope.

Second that a big NOPE to pink Celestia, or variants other then glitters and regulars! And yup all my stores didn;t get glitter Luna either wow... extremely lucky for Celestia this wave and very unlucky with Luna, looks like I need to resort to ebay AGAIN for my Luna upgrade... why is it always the more expensive one I struggle with...

I'm willing to give almost two glitter Celestias at this point for a perfect glitter Luna.

Wow I guess I am lucky I walked into a HT to find a glitter Luna. I was so desperate I ordered 13 Lunas on hottopic.com (lol yea I know) and did not get a glitter

But I happened to walk into a HT and they had placed the glitter on the highest shelf away from the others.

I'm still curious if I can find more chases. I called a different HT and they said they had one regular Luna, so I must have missed a shipment by a few days.

Since I am new to Funko- and these are a "pre-release" - someone said they will eventually be released in stores other than HT - will those stores also get glitters? Like Target, Walmart etc?

Yes, other places will have glitters. I found a glitter Big Mac at Barnes & Noble recently, and that might be the most likely place to find them. Walmart has been pretty behind on the figures and so far Target has only carried the exclusive Rainbow Dash vinyl.

I found another glitter Celestia tonight, but I'm holding on to her in hopes of trading her for a glitter Luna in the future. Celestia has been infinitely easier to find than Luna, ugh!

I did order POP Spitfire online for $10 though. Just missing regular Tia from the pops now..

Celestia should have been pinkish white in the first place, since they made Rarity and DJ Pon-3 in their accurate colors. That said pinkish/pink Celestia variant would't be too high on my must have list, mostly because I'm not very fond of variants.

And while I'm here I should mention, that Popcultcha has Target exclusive Rainbow Dash in stock. I ordered one yesterday.

I finally picked up my preorder Celestia - moved away during that time and the HT wasn't so local any longer. Got a regular version. Was also tempted to get Celestia and Spitfire POP's but I'm not sure if I want to start up on collecting those. I don't even have my favorite pony's POP.

I also scored Hasbro's Sugarcube Corner play set at 50% clearance from Target and that should be a good way to display the mystery mini ponies.

I have yet to see a chase or get one doing ship to store. I am glad I don't want any considering what some seem to go for. o.x I am hoping the next batch gets announced soon. I kind of wish they would churn these out quicker. A notable amount of major and supporting characters have yet to be done and I am hoping to get a LOT more before Hasbro eventually moves to G5. Hopefully the show will keep doing well so they will keep G4 going for a long time.

With the MLP movie not coming out until 2017, I'd say we still have a few years, even if the movie marks the end of G4 (which I could see happening. That would be 7 years of G4).

I wouldn't mind it if they continued the G4 Funko line, even if the show ends.

I do hope they release some info on new ponies soon. Although I hope to have a glitter Luna before that happens. My pony collecting resolution for this year is to actually keep up with the glitters. lol

So I lucked out this week and got Derpy and Dr Whooves chase for my little ones bday! Derpy bought on here and Dr Whooves found at B&N super happy. I've never seen them there before. But I'm desperately trying to find Pinkie Pie, was checking evilbay and omg prices on Luna and some of the others are nuts!!! I can't believe They've been selling for over $100. I will keep an eye out for more wild finds don't think I can bring myself to pay the eBay prices.

Congrats! If you think paying $100 for one of the glitter ponies is crazy, well a few months back the sweetie drops glitter and a spitfire glitter sold for about $600. The prices on those we're crazy high for a while. Prices for both have calmed down but imagine $600??? ](*,)

That's absurd. I don't even like the thoughts of paying $50-$60 for one knowing they were originally around $20! People on eBay are insane. The sad part is people probably paid the $600 for those, thinking it was an "investment."

To me, anyone who pays those insane prices for these figures doesn't understand how the cycle of glitter variants works (that they eventually drop in price). Also, maybe it's just me, but I can think of 600 other things I'd rather spend $600 on. Or $100 for that matter. I will never pay over $100 for a glitter. Heck, I've only paid over $50 for a glitter ONCE. [-X
