Would you like to see second editions of previous Mondo posters?

How do you feel about Funko re-releasing like say a second edition, (and labeled such) of previous Mondo poster's before Funko acquired then?

i wonder if they would be prohibited from re-releasing old posters by licensing rules. i'm guessing those licensors offer a window for only a limited amount of time? they could always try to renew, of course, but i would otherwise think that this isn't even possible.

Mondo fans really really really hated it when Funko acquired them so I can already imagine the riots if this happened lol

I don't mind seeing that as I missed out on some, but I would do it like others have and make it in a different size. Either smaller or bigger, but I prefer smaller sizes since I'm running out of wall space.

Maybe new colorways as I doubt that anyone would appreciate devaluing the previous product.

I’m not a fan of rereleases, just make new ones

Not a fan of that at all. I collect these (and did before Funko acquired them). The part that makes them so sought after is the collectability. If you do this, it will absolutely kill any collectible aspect of them (which in turn does affect secondary value of them -- and although that's not a driver for me it is for a lot of people). Rather, I'd suggest they focus their time and energy on new product.

Even though I would love to get some Godzilla, Tron and Crow posters I missed, I would hate to devalue the original posters.

Um of course, I would love some remakes. Some of those original Ghiblis blow me away

Different variants that make it remarkably different from the original. I wish I had the Laurent Pulp Fiction

I'm not oppose to that if they make other variant posters like a foil poster different colors etc... I wish they re-release some older posters but have a different spin to them.

Personally no, it takes away from the initial count number and makes the idea these are limited not true. You’ll see anniversary prints like what they did with Jaws but there shouldn’t be a reason to see a Laurent The Birds or an Olly Moss Star Wars just get thrown into the screenprinter again.

Absolutely not! I love the old mondo posters. I know there’s a lot of harsh feelings in the artist world, but I like the direction mondo is going.

Yes! Would love to see some reprints of Matt Taylor's stuff, definitely missed out on them the first time :(
