Funko Fundays NFT Pack

So I was thinking, what would you all think about a Funko Fundays NFT Pack that has a redeemable? I was thinking maybe 1:100 packs have a physical redeemable & make it a LE 100.

They did something similar a couple years back during Blacklight Battle where you were able to redeem the digital version of the mascots via a QR Code that was inserted into the box - but it would be suuuuper cool if there was a Freddy you could only obtain through these packs.

For instance, since we are pirate themed for fundays maybe a Freddy as Treasure Skeleton where only a handful of lucky pirates obtain the physical ! Could be something cool to partner with dropp on especially with the migration to the new platform.

Now I know this is far fetched but bonus points if the redeemable has the opportunity to redeem mystery protos. This could potentially be a way to get protos back in the mix & they could fulfill it later. I don’t know the linguistics behind that or how difficult it could be to pull off - but it’s just an idea. I figure if they could insert fundays tickets in a pack, a proto can’t be too far off the realm of possibility.

5000 packs? 500 LE ? & maybe 50 protos? (Disclaimer: I have no clue at the anticipated capacity for fundays but the numbers could be relevant to that)

I like this idea. But they would probably have a separate "Box of Fun" release on Droppp and then the redeemables would be from the pool of pops released at Fundays. Or the the royalty collection would be getting a whole BOF shipped to you.

They could do a miniature drop where they have 4 different ultras that could be redeemed for a box. Don't know if that would be feasible or not.

I personally collect funko nft and I like it. I'm sure it also helps funko in case they can't produce the pops in time for fundays

I think this is a great idea! However, I think online redemption would be the best way to handle it.

Agreed, with all the hectic things going on at Fundays, would be hard to add another layer on top of it. They tend to keep these separate, but would be totally down for it!

They already sell a separate BOF during Fundays for those in attendance. Would be complicated to have a Dropp release going on the same time as Fundays as most of their die hard fans are already at SDCC /Fundays and would be hard for them to participate.

Its alot easier for them to give a digital pack with an nft
The 2 times they did give us digital nfts during events alot of the packs went unopened, and alot that never got redeemed.
Plus all the extra shipping cost for them (also droppp shipping isnt the best haha)
Although its a nice idea i seriously doubt they'd do that with any kind on quantity on physicals.

Now if they had a system where 1/1 holders could redeem for a proto or something, those mascot packs did each have a 1/1 nft in them.

The NFT was of the mascot of the team we picked and since we also got a pop of that mascot I guess there was physicals

I would actually really enjoy this and I think it's an interesting and fun idea. I loved getting the NFT card in the 2019 BoF and actually grabbed a couple other people's who were throwing them away. It would be cool to make them like a physical pack

When I was at 2022 Fundays, we did receive an NFT pack of 1 card. I never did end up opening the pack, it is still in my collection unopened. I think a Box of fun with a redeemable as one of the available prizes would be amazing.

Due to the protos being tied to rewards programs, I don’t know if we are going to see those again. I mean, they still get handed out - it’s just not gauranteed like it was before. You have to be in the right place at the right time.
