I am so on the fence with this. Not being a subscriber to the Marvel box, I at least get the chance to see what others receive and maybe hope for this with the DC box. I am just a little worried about the timing of the box, notification, price point, and size.
* I do not believe there will be repeat items. It would be pointless to reward founders with items they already own.
* The timing is awful! SDCC is right around the corner and we all are hoarding our money right now.
* The notification was too short. That email started popping up on 7/6 and you have less than 24hrs to make a decision with nothing to base it on.
* $125 is a lot to drop just before SDCC, with nothing to base this on, and less than 24hrs to decide. Then drop another $150 for your second year sub.
* The size of the box in the picture is not impressing me. That box does not look much bigger than a regular sub box. If you look, the depth of the boxes are the same but the new box is longer. There would have to be some really impressive stuff crammed in a box not even double in size to make it worth the price.

But all that being said....I can't wait to see what you guys get

went to comic con back in 2013 and 2015, got zero funko pop exclusive, zero hasbro exclusive, lines are nuts on Preview Nights.
plus the cost for hotel and airfare.

Planning to get this sight an seen if it is not sold out, wondering how many Founders that are subscribing two years of annual MCC are out there? Tens of Thousands? Thousands?

I doubt it'll be bad. None of the boxes were regretted as a whole, one item per box I could have done without but nothing is perfect. Every box also gives more "value" than the asking price, I suspect this will be nothing less.

I agree people will always complain or be angry but that likely isn't going to stop people from collecting. Funko has had plenty of 1 of 1,500 exclusives or limited releases. Heck look at the Target Batman. I think if it is an awesome box, it is a great reward to those who blindly purchased a year subscription.

I didn't sub my son until a few months later so it's not an option for us, but congrats to those that have a shot at it! At that price point it seems like there's probably a Hikari in there, not sure I'd be interested in that anyway. Probably a couple of Pops too? It'll be interesting to see. Seems like at that price they should have at least given you an idea of what TYPE of Funko products will be in there, that's a pretty big investment when you have no idea what you're getting.

Well I assume these emails went out to Founders who are still currently subscribed and have not missed a box. I can't imagine that there are over 5000 of those. Subtract the people who won't be buying it and you're down to about 2500. Those are not factual numbers just what I think, which could be way off. I don't think it'll crash or sell out immediately. The verbiage in the email makes me think there's going to be plenty, why would it only be for founders for a limited time? For that reason I don't think there will be a Hikari, all recent runs have been under 1000.

At the price point you would almost have to assume either a Hikari or Super Deluxe figure would be in the box, it is the other stuff that would be in there that has me afraid of missing out. Limited number dorbz, pops and mystery minis, the thought of having to get them off of ebay is horrible.

yeah, I'm rolling the dice on this, but as someone said, if it is lame, there is going to be a LOT of bad feelings, and I don't think Funko is ready to shoot themselves in the foot with this.

On the other hand, I was just looking at all the Founders trophies that were on eBay since they went out, and it looks like a lot of people tried to sell them and the small percentage that did got $15-25 for them. Definitely a 'bragging rights/sentimental" item as opposed to something exceptionally flippable.

Metallic chases of all the first year CC Pops would make me VERY happy though!
