Picked this guy up at gamestop today. Haven't seen much talk about the distressed groot (it isn't even on the gamestop website at this point)

I couldn't find it on the gamestop website, looks like some of the stores got one each or something. The employees said they got it last week sometime and didn't think anyone would ever buy it.

Ya it looks very similar to the regular version.
I'll add it to the checklist and use a "glam" if it comes up for order elsewhere.

Its quite a bit lighter than the normal le5000 one. They may have used that one as a base to distress it thought

I think he does...he has a hint of blue/green on him, almost like algae...like he'd been laying on the river bank.

I bought Original Groot last week, and its great. Nice, detailed sculpt, and solid depth to the drybrysh paint app. I'm still impressed. This could get expensive.
